Temple City Unified School District

A District of Award-Winning Schools

Local Control Accountability Plan

Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

  • The LCAP is a critical part of the new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Each school district must engage parents, educators, employees and the community to establish these plans. The plans will describe the school district's overall vision for students, annual goals and specific actions the district will take to achieve the vision and goals. The LCAPs must focus on ten different areas identified as state priorities. The plans will also demonstrate how the district's budget will help achieve the goals, and assess each year how well the strategies in the plan were able to improve outcomes.

PUBLIC HEARING JUNE 11, 2025: The Governing Board of Temple City Unified School District will hold public hearings on the LCAP and the BUDGET OF THE DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2026, PRIOR TO Final Adoption, as required by Education Codes 42103 and 52062. The public hearings will be held at 9700 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City on June 11, 2025, at 6:00pm. The public is cordially invited to attend this meeting. The proposed LCAP and Budget is posted below should members of the public wish to review the LCAP and Budget prior to the public hearings, at 9700 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, from June 6, 2025 to June 25, 2025, during hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm.
