An architectural rendering of Temple City High School Phase 1B, including a pool and sports fields.

    • Demolition of the existing pool
    • New snack bar
    • Construction of a new CIF regulation 33m x 25yd pool (including new deck, scoreboard and bleachers)
    • Modernization of locker rooms and team rooms (including new restrooms)
    • Reconstruction of the sports fields (includes a new softball field as well as the new multi-use field)
    • Thanks to the community’s support of Measure S, bond dollars continue to provide improvements to the Temple City High School campus and other District facilities. In November of 2017, the Board of Education approved the agreement for next phase of construction at TCHS. This phase includes a new CIF regulation pool, modernized locker and team rooms and a new multi-use sports field.
    • As part of this improvement, the campus’ main electrical equipment including the utility power to the solar panel system, currently located within the existing pool equipment building north of the Lemon Avenue parking lot, will be replaced with new. While the majority of the site power will be maintained as long as possible, some systems, including the solar panel system, have been required to be temporarily disconnected to facilitate construction of a new electrical utility building.
    • The District can expect to resume generating power summer 2018 when the electrical work is complete.
