The Educational Services Department supports TCUSD schools, administrators, staff, students and parents in preparing students for rigorous and relevant 21^st century learning. Guided by the Board of Education's Mission, Vision and Core Values and the Common Core State Standards, Educational Services is focused on student academic success through innovation, technology, teaching, and learning.

The California Standards focus on problem-solving skills, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and prepare students to be college and career ready. Underscored by excellent teaching, students are challenged to justify their answers, cite evidence and think beyond "yes-no" responses.
