Literacy
TCUSD invites families to join us for Family Literacy Night on Monday, March 16 from 5:00–7:30 p.m. at Longden Elementary! Enjoy an evening filled with engaging literacy activities including a book exchange, word bracelet making, bookmark crafts, endless activities and a visit from the Miss Temple City Court. Families can also participate in parent workshops and enjoy food trucks on site.

We are excited to announce that local Bitty Bao author, Lulu Cheng, will be doing a live book reading for our students! Lulu will be doing an interactive bilingual reading of her board books, share some “behind the scenes” processes of being an author and allow for Q&A. All orders will be signed by the author and handed to your students after the reading to take home!
