⋆。‧˚ʚ🐯ɞ˚‧。⋆ Hello, Longden Families!

Another week has flown by, filled with learning, laughter, and holiday cheer at Longden! Here’s a look at this week’s highlights and a sneak peek at what’s coming next.

♬ ♪ ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و This week, Mrs. Hsieh’s and Mrs. Lam’s 6th graders, together with the TCHS Character Club, brought holiday cheer to the residents of Casa Robles Retirement Center. Students filled the morning with festive caroling, warm smiles, and a special solo performance by Connor from Mrs. Lam’s class.
A big thanks to the Character Club for sharing the importance of spreading kindness and joy with seniors and for creating festive holiday cards with students to give to the residents of the retirement home.
We also want to give an extra-special shout-out to Anderson Lam, Longden alum and superstar pianist, for bringing the perfect musical magic to our morning. Check out more videos on Longden YouTube & Instagram!

Emergency Preparedness
Today, we completed our monthly emergency drill, and our students were outstanding!
They remained focused, calm, and worked together every step of the way. Our Tigers understand the importance of practicing these safety procedures, and it truly shows. Excellent job, Tigers! 🐯👏

🥤 PBIS Monthly Special Event
PBIS kicked off our first monthly special event of the school year: Hot Cocoa and a Candy Cane! Over 330 students enjoyed warm cocoa, sweet candy canes, festive music, and time with friends.

🎄 Don’t delay—donate today! 🎁
We’re in the final stretch of collecting toys and gift cards, and we need YOUR help to sprinkle a little extra magic on this holiday season. Your generosity will bring big smiles and brighten the holidays for students who could use a little extra joy.

We have an awesome week ahead.

Message from Dr. Cunha – True North Survey

Dear Temple City Family,

As we plan for the future of our schools, your voice continues to guide our work and shape the vision we hold for every student we serve. In the coming days, you may receive a phone call, text message, or mailed notice from True North Research. I want to assure you that any communication from True North is legitimate and not spam.

As we explore the possibility of a new bond measure, we have partnered with True North Research to gather valuable feedback from our families, staff, and community members. Their survey will help us better understand what matters most to you—your priorities, your hopes, and the investments you believe will best support the future of Temple City Unified.

If you receive a message from True North, we kindly ask that you take a moment to complete the survey. Your participation is essential in helping us plan thoughtfully and responsibly for the years ahead.

Thank you for your time, your partnership, and your unwavering commitment to our schools.

Warm regards,
Dr. Art Cunha
