  1. When will registration open and close for ELP Before & Afterschool Summer Program?
    Online registration will begin Monday, May 2, 2022. The online link will be posted on this ELP Summer Programs page. Registration will stay open so long as there is space in the program. Once spaces are full, we will open a waitlist.

  2. Who can attend ELP Before & Afterschool Summer Program?
    Students attending Temple City Unified School District (TCUSD) Summer School grades 1st through 6th can register for ELP Before & Afterschool Summer Program. Students attending Temple City Schools Foundation (TCSF) classes may also register but priority will be given to students enrolled in TCUSD Summer School.

  3. What do I need to do to register?
    Parents will need to return to the ELP Summer Webpage on / after May 2, 2022, fill out our online registration form, submit proof to ELP of either TCUSD Summer School or TCSF Summer Class enrollment, wait for our emailed response with payment instructions, and pay for their selected session(s).

  4. How much is ELP Before & Afterschool Summer Program? 
    There are two sessions available based on TCUSD Summer School. 

  • Session One: 06/15/2022—07/14/2022* $750 + $50 Registration Fee
  • Session Two: 06/15/2022—7/21/2022* $900 + $50 Registration Fee

Care will be provided Monday-Thursday, closed on June 20, 2022 and July 4, 2022.

  1. What grade does my child need to be to attend ELP?
    ELP is available to provide care for students who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade.  
    (Incoming 1st - 6th Grade for the 2022 - 2023 school year)

  2. What time and where can I drop my child off for ELP AM Session?
    Our designated drop-off time for AM ELP is between 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Parents / students arriving after 7:45 a.m. will need to wait for summer school drop-off times. These conditions are set in place for the safety and accountability of our students.

  3. What time and where can I pick up my child from ELP?
    A school campus map will be emailed to all fully registered families with the designated location.

  4. Is school lunch provided?
    Yes, students in ELP will have lunch provided by TCUSD Food Services between 11:35 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. 
    Parents may request for a school lunch to be provided or students may bring a lunch from home.

  5. Does my child need to bring their device everyday?
    TCUSD Summer School students must bring a fully charged laptop/Chromebook, its charger, and headphones everyday.

  6. How will I know if my space is secure and confirmed in the program?
    Families interested in ELP Before & Afterschool Summer Program will be asked to complete our online Google Form*. Once parents / guardians are able to get confirmation from either TCUSD Summer School or TCSF Summer Class, the ELP office will email the tuition information and options to submit payment. Parents / guardians will have 48 hours to confirm receipt of the email and submit their payment. Our welcome letter and school map will be sent by email.

  7. I am TCUSD Faculty / Staff, am I able to enroll my child?
    Absolutely. TCUSD Faculty / Staff, please email our program directly for instructions (elp@tcusd.net)

  8. Is ELP Before & Afterschool Summer Program the only summer program ELP will offer this summer?
    Yes. For Summer 2022,  ELP will only be open from 6/15/2022 to 7/21/2022 for students attending TCUSD Summer School or TCSF Summer classes.
