• Mr. Rowe

    Greetings! I am Grant Rowe.

I am originally from Portland, Oregon although I have lived in and out of California since 2005. Prior to working here at TCHS, I have taught in Merced and Santa Ana, California, Seattle, Washington, and lived for 2 years in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in between Seattle and Temple City. This is my thirteenth year working as a teacher of the visually impaired. I played soccer at the University of Portland and I am an avid fan of the beautiful game throughout the world. My son and I travel as often as we can and our two favorite spots to visit are Brazil and Japan. I am a Portland Trail Blazers fanatic and never miss a game.

My teaching philosophy is simple: give students the resources to grow and set high standards. When teachers have high expectations, they are coupled with support, the sky is the limit.

I teach four periods of VH Skills at TCHS and I also see students at Oak Intermediate. My planning period is sixth.
