Smarter Balance Assessment

Below are resources for the 24-25 School Year to help teacher teams identify the Designated Supports that are important for their English Learners to have on the ELPAC, SBAC ELA, SBAC Math, and CAST.  On this document, the Red and Purple areas define the accessibility supports that can be added in TOMS or SEIS for students with an IEP or 504.  However, the pink area included non-embedded Designated Supports for English Learners or the Orange area that includes embedded supports that can be turned on in the CAASPP system for English Learners.  

Teachers can assign these supports in Ellevation.  Please watch the following video for directions on how to do this:

The district will download the teacher input from Ellevation and place it into TOMS prior to testing.
